What we serve

Hidden Gem Coffee Bar

Hi, we're Rachel and Luke! Newport born and raised. I have over 15 years experience in the restaurant industry and my husband, Luke is a Newport firefighter.

Our families have been in Newport for generations and we've been walking the grounds of Fort Adams since we were kids. With our families, with friends, and eventually with a family of our own. This place has always meant something to us. For years we dreamed... this place needs a coffee shop.

So we built one! Three months after our first baby arrived, tired, excited, and maybe a little crazy, we opened Hidden Gem.

It's our love letter to Newport. We felt called to combine our favorite things: coffee, the ocean, fresh air, and taking a second to slow down and enjoy your surroundings. Organic locally roasted coffee, house-made syrups, fresh pastries, and the ocean right outside the door. We built the kind of place we always wanted to find on our morning walks.
